Finding our inner truth can be challenging at the best of times. Add in fear, heightened emotions and living in ‘the age of information warfare’ – good luck! I don’t know about you, but the world seems louder to me. Time seems faster and there is so much going on. We are constantly being bombarded with loads of input – telling us what’s what out in the world – which even this information changes on a daily basis. What to do. How do we then, uncover the truth? How do we find our truth?

Finding the Truth Within

Finding our inner truth can be challenging at the best of times. Add in fear, heightened emotions and living in ‘the age of information warfare’ – good luck! I don’t know about you, but the world seems louder to me. Time seems faster and there is so much going on. We are constantly being bombarded with loads of input – telling us what’s what out in the world – which even this information changes on a daily basis. What to do. How do we then, uncover the truth? How do we find our truth?

My number one piece of advice: If you want to uncover your truth – watch, listen, and pay attention to your body.

All the noise of electronics: TV, phones, YouTube, webinars, computer games, radio, etc – it’s hard to turn them off once they’re on. We’ve become addicted in a way to noise and distractions. And, there’s a good reason for that – who wants to stop and feel what’s really going on inside? You? Not many people will take this journey. It takes a brave soul to dive in and check out what’s what within. I can guess there’s a massive amount of pain that lives inside of humanity.

Are you willing to go there?

We fight everyday for our basic needs. We fight to keep our jobs, even though we may be miserable in that job – doesn’t matter, it’s income. We fight for every last human right we have left. We fight for survival as the cost of our daily essentials is skyrocketing. It feels like we’re being robbed in broad daylight! We fight to ensure our families are fed and safe. When survival is the first and foremost thing on our minds – who has time to go inside anyway? It feels futile. Why would I want to make myself more miserable? Why would I disturb the hard shell I’ve placed around my self just to get by?

I hear you. Don’t rock the boat. That’s fine. A journey to your inner self may not be for you . . . but if are you starting to question the ‘reality’ you are putting up with and really desire to find out your truth – read on.

Does something seem off to you, maybe not quite feel right? Pay attention to this – it’s one of the most important things, if not the most important thing that could happen to you in your life. It’s the beginning of your awakening. The beginning of your spiritual life, when you start to see outside the box (cage) you’ve been calling life.

It’s a major significant step and a very good sign. Don’t get me wrong, there’s loads of ‘work’ ahead, but nothing can compare to the elation of a spiritual awakening. The facade is blown, your reality is altered, everything is questioned and your life will never be the same. Welcome to living in truth. Once your outer world is questioned, you can take the journey to your inner world where your truth lives!

Following the leads from your body –
a great first step.

Throughout our lives, our minds have been stuffed with crap – programming and conditioning, negative beliefs about ourselves and others and biases which cause judgment. Your body on the other hand, may have been trying to get your attention for some time. For example: If you eat something that doesn’t agree with you, do you keep eating it? If it’s not good for you, this ‘food’ may be classified as poisonous to your system. It might be great for someone else, but for you – no.

The next question might be – why do I keep eating this food that hurts me? Allow the answer to come in time, as it will eventually bubble up.

Another quick example. For me, I’ve been noticing when I hold back speaking my truth, my body gets really tired and I feel flat. I’m not living authentically in this case. What keeps me from speaking my truth? For the most part, it’s a conversation in my mind talking me out of it. Something like: Really? They’ve all heard what you have to say and did what they wanted to regardless, what makes you think they want to hear you again? So I don’t say anything. Sometimes that’s ok too, but when my body is effected by holding back – it might have been something I needed to share.

Getting answers to our many questions may take time. Some of my answers showed up years later as they were all tied up and intertwined with my past. It’s a process. Once you are on the path to awakening, so much will be revealed to you. It’s exciting and also frightening at the same time – but well worth it. There’s a saying: You can’t put the genie back in the bottle. A spiritual awakening is just like this. The first time you question something that doesn’t look, feel or smell right – the key has been inserted in the lock, the door is opened and you step through – never to return back to the blindfolds.

Your body is your friend during your awakening process. It’s the one thing you can trust when you get started on your journey. Give your body some space to breathe, allow it to communicate to you, and most importantly – listen! If your feet are taking you left – go left. If your body says ‘NO’ then don’t do it. Listen and act on your body’s wisdom – you can’t go wrong!!

Are You Listening . . .

Awareness and listening are both very important components of communication. There may be a variety of things outside our conscious awareness trying to get our attention for a chance to interact with us. The subtle and varied ways they use to get our attention can sometimes be tough to interpret and may slip under our…

Ending Negative Self-Talk

Negative beliefs and self-talk are very destructive to ourselves and others, mostly because we believe these negative things we tell ourselves are true. This is mainly because we identify with them and use “I am” in front of things like being a burden, weak, not worthy, a mistake . . . It’s not true.  You’re…

It’s so hard to be real in the world full of fakes. I kinda resonate with your messages since I passed through your blog and this hits me the most. I’m recently on an awakening journey, it’s so tough to navigate it with all these distractions the world is throwing on me. I’m really trying to cut all distractions and even though the enemy wins some battles am sure he will never prevail. Thanks for sharing this…

Hello and thank you so much for your honest comment. I absolutely understand where you are coming from and it is very challenging to be a teller of truth in a ‘world full of fakes’ as you so aptly put it. I agree. I like your commitment too, you are strong in your determination. It’s people like you who will help to ultimately eradicate the enemy. Thank you again! Glad you stopped by!

Another excellent reminder Donna of Listening within… Learning to listen to our inner compass via our intuition for me over the years I have had to learn by my mistakes, and we all make them…

I made some whoppers in career moves which I should have listened to the Universe when it gave me the signs.. But often you are oblivious until you really begin on your inner healing work..

But you are so, so, right in saying listen to our bodies..
For Years I had ill health, a chronic illness with FMS and pain… and without going into a book here Lol… Only when I finally made life changes within my daily life and career, along with a lot of awareness, inner work which I was led to by various authors and healers, did I begin to heal those illness’s and the pain started to ease…

One of the best books I still recommend which goes into detail of illness and how emotions may be affecting our bodies is You Can Heal Your Life, by Louise Hays.. I have bought that same book three times.. because I gave my copies away to people who were in need of healing..

When we are in dis-ease…. we should pay attention to the disease …. For it is showing us we are not in balance…

Wise words, and loved listening to you…. 🙂 Many thanks my friend… Much love and Gratitude ❤ ✨💛🙏

Hi Sue! Thank you for your insightful comment! Being steeped within this war on consciousness, we all need a truthful and faithful compass – and for me that’s the body! Sounds like you also have experience with this too and realizing how it really wants to help us! 😀 I learned a lot about how useful the body can be in helping us make decisions through studying Human Design. It really opened my eyes and is a great tool!

I love “You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise Hay – what a great book! It really helps to narrow down symptoms with possible causes. Nothing is random. Thanks for mentioning it! I’ve had to learn the hard way too by making mistakes and not listening – getting sick, my body making me stop because I didn’t stop and listen. 🤦‍♀️ Oh well, more healing work, more experiences, more of a chance of listening in the future!! …. Hopefully!! … LOL

I’m noticing recently how consequences are being ramped up and listening to ourselves is crucial. I was planning a short holiday/drive away in a couple weeks time but decided against it. Couldn’t get the body enrolled! Not happening and feels better to stay home for now. I’m listening!! 🤓

Much love and sending huge hugs!! Love, Donna

Wise to listen and pay attention to the body of thoughts and what our heart is telling us right now Donna…. Yes Louise Hay’s book helped me a lot… Including the affirmations and the mirror work on my self…
We are learning and evolving, tweaking and perfecting as we go Donna…. This life time in this incarnation I am certain is all about finding ourselves , Learning to listen within, and love ourselves.. I hope I am more or less getting it right this time around lol…

Good thing we get amnesia, .. I wonder if that too will disappear! Another topic for another day LOL
        Have a wonderful week Donna.
        Much love ❤ 💚💜

Yes, learning to love ourselves breaks the hold the negativity has on us. The less ‘controlled’ we are by outside sources, the easier it is to navigate. The whole ego construct never felt ‘human’ to me. Feels like we’ve had our heads held under water for our lifetime. I believe the amnesia will disappear! It’s time to remember who we are!! Yes, a topic for another day!! LOL Thanks for your wisdom Sue!! Much love ❤️😘

Hello! I just wanted to tell you how particularly helpful and insightful your messages have been. Especially today’s message. I am on a spiritual journey of my own, but the stimuli around me like life in general, clogs my way to finally getting around to me. Thank you so much to helping start my day, this day, with such a powerful lesson.
    All my best,

Hi Chestine! Thank you so much for your heartfelt comment! I am so happy my messages speak to you and offer you some sunshine as you start your day! The ‘input’ from our daily lives can and does interfere at times with finding our inner truth. All we can do is to be the best person we can be at the time and to remain in our bodies breathing! We are at the pinnacle of massive change – so learning how to witness the actions of our bodies now will pay off in the future! I am so glad you stopped by and sending you loads of blessings on your journey!

Thanks for sharing your wise reminders Donna. I’ve been delving into personal growth for 25+ years, but still don’t have clarity or trust in my inner guidance. Maybe it’s time for more quiet listening.

It does take time to be sure Brad. Clearing out all the conditioning is grueling and can be long-winded. Observing your body, I found anyway, watching when and where it moves is a good way to start. The body doesn’t lie and will always show you what you need!
