Doing EFT Will Help You Move Through Blocks so That You Can Easily Succeed in Your Life

I love finding quick, easy, effective tools that help us reduce fear because reducing fear allows for more freedom of choice and for taking positive action in our lives. Emotional Freedom Techniques, EFT or “Tapping” is one of these tools. I felt moved to share this technique with you.

I’ve been clearing negative emotions out of my body, ones that have been stored in my cells for a long time, now causing me pain. A friend of mine suggested EFT and sent me a video of Brad Yates doing Tapping. It was a wonderful reminder!

I’d heard of Tapping many years ago – I picked up a CD on tapping when I attended a spiritual conference. I followed along and found it to be very easy and effective. I was upset about something, I can’t even remember what it was now. I used the EFT technique and the emotion completely cleared!

I was astonished at how easy, quick and effective it was. Here is what Brad says about EFT:

Self-sabotage is simply misguided self-love.

It’s not because we are bad or stupid – we are simply trying to protect ourselves – based on old programming and, likely, a lot of misunderstandings.

Tapping/EFT – is a simple yet effective tool for clearing stress. (In fact, it may be the simplest and most effective stress-buster there is, outside of pharmaceutical tranquilizers!) And before you ask, yes – there is scientific research to support this.

Rather than letting the fear of change stop us, we can tap away the stress and discomfort and give ourselves the freedom to examine what we might be afraid of… and discover that we actually can handle the positive changes.

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. Rather than being controlled by our feelings, we have the freedom and ability to change our emotional state.

Since at least 80-90% of our behavior is non-conscious – and 80-90% of the choices we make are made emotionally, emotional freedom is the freedom to make better choices.

The freedom to make better choices is the freedom to succeed. And that’s why we tap.

And… yes… admittedly, tapping looks a little silly – at least at first.  If your life is already moving along the way you want, and internal resistance isn’t slowing you down, you may decide this isn’t for you.  Of course, nothing’s so good that it can’t get better… and the potential benefits of tapping make this strange process more than worth it. C’mon… give it a try.  What have you got to lose…?

I whole-heartedly agree. Brad talks more on EFT and how Tapping relates to the body’s meridians. He also demonstrates a general Tapping example.

  1. Awesome, Donna!!! I am thrilled to hear you are healing even more. There are so many modalities available and all of us must find the one (s) that work for us. Acupressure works better for me then tapping does. My husband, bless him, has the ability to feel blockages and he releases them. I’ve also been taking CBD oil, from a store I trust (MANY scams out there!) and the results are miraculous! Diet, lifestyle, keeping stress to a minimum, meditating, incorporating fun, laughter, being out in Nature, and using supplements, herbs, hobbies, anything that put all together helps us heal… that is the journey those of us are on who are determined to heal from the traumas of past years. Thank you for sharing this valuable information. I hope all who come here learn something.

    Another way I have learned to let go a past negative pattern, is to first see it of course, and then speak to that pattern telling it that it no longer serves a purpose in your life. “Seeing” that pattern releasing, leaving, and in its place, a glow of Love or anything that works for you. LONG process with any modality we choose, yet …. it is SO worth it. I am so proud of you for sticking with the process!! 🤗🤗

It’s great to have a “tool box” which includes useful modalities! Speaking of – I need to get a hobby besides DIY LOL! It’s a long process and like you said – whatever we can find that works for us and gives us some joy in life is so worth it!! You are an amazing person – a privilege to know you! ❤️😃

      1. Oh I’m so happy you like my suggestions, Donna. I’ve tried so much over the years and even there, I seem to have to change up now and then again. And I’m still incorporating “new” to this very day as well. I highly encourage you to find a hobby that takes you completely out of this world with fun and with JOY.
