I have been asking myself lately: What does freedom look like in my life? How would I know if I were free? And, Why is freedom so important to me? In the past, I associated freedom with the physical, through my body. Running has always felt like freedom to me, however there have been few times in my life that my body actually felt the ease of running. What does physical freedom really feel like then? But what about emotional freedom or spiritual freedom? Have I ever experienced these freedoms? Read More
This is a tough subject and the only way through it, I feel, is to be frank. Please only take what resonates with you and discard the rest. No one really wants to be told they are the source of their own misery and suffering. If you are blaming others and circumstances for your predicaments and unhappiness – you are missing a golden opportunity for some amazing changes and growth to take place in your life. Misery and suffering come from within but it’s not who you are and it’s not usually what you think it is – typically. Read More
Some people say it’s selfish or vain to love yourself. You may have even heard it’s bad to love yourself. This is a myth and a lie! Many people don’t even know what it means or what loving yourself entails. Imagine the looks you might get from people you know if you were to suddenly announce out loud: “I love myself!!” while proudly sporting a big smile. A likely response from your friends might be: “Oh . . . that’s nice.” at the same time thinking: “Who does she think she is?” Read More
Negative beliefs are very destructive to ourselves and others, mostly because we believe they are true and identify with them when we use “I am” in front of things like: a burden, weak, not worthy, a mistake . . . Many times we find these beliefs we are suffering over aren’t even ours. They are ones we picked up from our parents, family, friends, teachers and the media. read More
Not so long ago, I realized I was lacking a relationship and connection with God. I may have even been a bit skeptical, or perhaps had unfinished business. I knew about synchronicity, coincidence, The Secret, The Law of Attraction, the Universe, etc., but my interest was mainly from a point of view: That’s just how things work here. It wasn’t personal, I just knew this stuff existed. I had faith, but it was limited to only what I could achieve alone. I was the master of my life and the master of my destiny! Read More
Disassociation can happen when we are triggered and traumatized. We can fragment without being aware that a part of us has left, losing a sense of who we are. It’s like being in the world but not of it, you’re here but you’re not, going through the motions but not feeling much of anything. You may have a moment of clarity and realize much of your life has been lived without you. Read More
Thank you for visiting!
My blog contains insights I’ve gained along The Path to My Heart which I hope will be of benefit to you. It’s a continuation of the story in my book which lives on in my experiences as a timeline of sorts that moves and grows with me.
It’s also a place for me to share my experiences with healing negative beliefs, ending vicious cycles, facing fear and allowing negative emotions to surface without judgment on my path to achieving wholeness. Please join me if you are interested in finding your own truth and a possibility for lasting healing!
It’s possible for you to live your life:
- from love
- filled with possibility
- free from negative thinking
- with true choice
WARNING: There is no pill to wipe away sorrow or heal repeating vicious patterns in our lives. No magician can rid us of negative beliefs or dark emotions. It’s just not possible to wish these things away. We can intend and have a willingness – these both work in getting us started into making lasting changes, changes for a more fulfilling life.
I will also be referring to and quoting information from my own Resources as they have contributed greatly to my awakening!
Please only take what resonates and disregard the rest.
