Listening is a skill most people believe they have – but in all probability – they don’t. I would even go so far as to say the art of listening is rare. Look back for a minute – how many times have you been genuinely heard? Most likely it’s a very low number – unless you are fortunate enough to have a good listener in your life which is a true gift!
Take this a step further: What about the number of times you’ve really felt “gotten” when you knew without a doubt the person listening had a true experience of you? Rare? I’d say so. read more here

Our bodies want to help us stay healthy. They have a lot to say and are a wealth of information. We get busy, life is loud and we miss the subtle tones of our body trying to get our attention. No matter – our bodies will eventually find a way to stop us and make us listen – which at that point we might not like what it has to say.
Atrocious behavior from players participating in the FIFA World Cup has made watching the games both unpleasant and frustrating. I’m shocked at the blatant, aggressive tactics used by some of the teams. It’s like watching “big time wrestling” on a football (soccer) field.
